Global & Regional Engagements

FORUMCC is accredited to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) with Observer Status, actively engaging in regional and global climate platforms to promote equitable and locally driven solutions. We work to amplify Africa’s voice in climate diplomacy and ensure that community priorities are reflected in international processes.

As the Designated National Platform in Tanzania for the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA), FORUMCC is part of a continental coalition of more than 2,000 civil society organizations across 54 African countries. This platform enables coordinated policy advocacy, community mobilization, and knowledge generation to promote fair, inclusive, and ecologically just climate action. Through these mechanisms, FORUMCC contributes to shaping transformative climate policies, strengthening accountability frameworks, and ensuring that frontline communities are meaningfully represented in decision-making spaces.

We welcome partnerships with institutions, donors, networks, and allies who share our commitment to advancing locally led solutions, strengthening climate justice, and driving meaningful impact across Africa.
